Brush up for the interview

Do a little homework:
Know thoroughly about the company you are going for an interview;
Know the position and the job profile before going for the interview;
If possible get to know the person you are meeting;
Review your work experience and have the facts ready;
Prepare yourself with the answer that you are expecting from the new employer and you are supposed to know from them;
Be formally dressed for the interview.

Plan your time:
Always reach 15 to 30 minutes before time and report the reception of your arrival;
Within this time you can observe the office decor, the reception, the people, which will be helpful tool to prepare yourself for the presentation.

Show your interest:
Greet the interviewer before asking for a seat,
Keep your bag/purse/briefcase aside, only your resume and related documents with you on the table;
Look straight in the eyes of the interviewer, which shows you are confident and prepared for the interview;
Be a good listener and try to relate your answer with the interviewer and the company;

Be Positive:
Always reply to the point;
Try to focus your strengths and achievements relevant to the position;
Politely decline, if you don't know the answer;
Encourage the interviewer to share the information about the company;
If an expected salary figure is asked, politely tell that it should be commensurate with your skills and experience. If still pressed for figure, give your currently drawn salary and ask for an appropriate raise over it.

Repeating the same things or saying on the issue which you don't know;
Giving any negative comments about the past employer;
